Crop Images with Rectangle or Perspective Controls
Crop JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF images with rectangle or perspective controls. Adjust corners, choose an aspect ratio and preview the result before download.
Your image stays on your device. Processing happens in your browser, with no image upload to our servers.
How to crop an image
Computer or wide screen: Rectangle and Perspective are above the image. Rotate left, Rotate right and Aspect ratio are below it. Export settings are in the right-hand panel.
Mobile or narrow screen: tap Crop image to open these controls in a dialog. After adjusting the crop, tap Done. Export settings are below the image preview.
- Choose an image from your device, or drag it into the drop area if one is shown on your computer.
- Keep Rectangle selected for a regular crop. Move a corner or side handle to remove the parts you do not need.
- Choose a preset or custom Aspect ratio if the crop needs a particular shape. Rotate the image if needed, then tap Done if you opened the crop dialog.
- Choose your output format, select Preview output and download the cropped image.
Straighten an image with perspective cropping
Perspective mode lets you move each corner independently. Use it to select the edges of a document, sign or other rectangular subject photographed at an angle.
Keep Stretch to rectangle selected to turn the four-corner selection into a rectangular image. Turn it off to keep the selected shape without straightening it. The saved image still has rectangular dimensions, with transparent or solid background areas outside the selection.
Make precise crop adjustments
Click a corner, side or crop area to select it. The selected control is highlighted in violet. Arrow keys adjust it by one image pixel; Shift and an arrow key use ten-pixel steps.
When dragging a corner by touch, a magnifier shows the image around that corner. On a keyboard, Tab moves focus between the crop area and its handles.
Crop and compress an image to a file-size limit
After cropping, enter a maximum file size in KB or MB if your destination has an upload limit. Compression aims below that limit; it does not promise an exact file size.
With no manual target, the automatic target is based on the uploaded file size and the proportion of image area remaining in the crop.
